Outreach Mission is a nonprofit corporation, organized within the meaning of the IRC 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (Federal ID 56-1653062). 

 

Both the Men's and Women's Shelters operate on a very small budget. We welcome any monetary donations to help offset costs.

 

We strive to be wise stewards of the resources entrusted to us. We are in the process of applying to grants and receiving funding from government sources, but still need donations to make our work possible.

WHAT YOUR DONATION FUNDS

Monetary donations are the lifeblood of our shelters. Our budget is 80% funded by individuals, businesses, and churches. Donations cover insurance, salaries, utilities, maintenance, and repairs.  

 

In some situations, we use funds to purchase specific items such as steel-toe boots for a resident who obtains a job that requires them, a bus ticket for them to return with family in another state, or entrance fees to a rehab facility if needed. 

 

Our cost per night per resident is $15 and we have an average of 36 residents per night (18 per shelter).
